Farms and Fall Festivities Near Philly

Autumn is officially here, with crisp fall air, leaves turning color, and pumpkin flavored everything! If you’re looking to get out of the city for a few hours to bask in the beauty of the season, check out the following orchards and farms in the Philadelphia area that have those fall activities you’ve been waiting for all year. Pick your own pumpkins, take a hay ride through the trees, or sip on some fresh apple cider.

Linvilla Orchards

Media, PA (~30 minutes away)

Linvilla is fun for the whole family, with apple picking, hay rides, corn mazes, a beer garden, their own market, and more. Check out their website for events, tickets, and other activities held all year round.

Solly Brothers Farm

Warminster, PA (~45 minutes away)

Johnson’s Corner Farm

Medford, NJ (~30 minutes away)

Highland Orchards

West Chester, PA (~35 minutes away)

Highland Orchards is the perfect escape where you can pick your own apples, pumpkins, gourds, and berries. Hop on a hayride or check out their animal petting farm, then stop by the market and bakery on your way home for some fresh produce and pies.

Weaver’s Orchard

Morgantown, PA (~1 hour away)

Weaver’s Orchard has a lot going on, and it’s perfect for families or couples. They have fall family fun days all through October, where they offer apple and berry picking, hay and barrel rides, pony rides, face painting, and “Read n’ Pick Story Time” for children.
