Hi, I’m Jen! I have been a Philadelphia resident for over 12 years now and grew up just an hour outside of the city. I fell in love with Philadelphia Real Estate after purchasing my first home in 2015. After going through the process as a first time home buyer, I knew that I wanted to help educate others on the process as well. I had been working primarily with first time buyers for my first 2.5 years in the business, but since then have also helped a number of sellers, new construction, rehabs, rentals, and more! I stay up to date with all of the happenings with business and education in the city and have a strong understanding of the Philadelphia/Suburb market. I am always happy to help clients with any questions that may have about all things real estate!

Below are my favorite hidden gems in every neighborhood that are worth checking out. Enjoy :)

Bella Vista

Isgro Pastries

Calling all sweet tooths! Located in the Italian Market, Isgro’s offers some of the best pastries in Philly. Some of their top sellers include pound cake, Italian cream and strawberry cream shortcakes, and filled-to-order cannolis.

Fishtown

Murph’s Bar

It may look like a typical Irish bar, but they serve up some delicious authentic Italian food, and offer pairings with different wines. They don’t take reservations, but you can always wait at the bar until your table is ready!

Passyunk

August Moon Co.

Owner Kristina opened this boutique with the goal to match her own values; small batch production, women or minority owned, domestic or sustainable production, charitable, or socially aware. August Moon started out as a handmade gemstone jewelry brand, but has evolved into a women’s clothing boutique in a short time!

Queen Village

Mari BYO

This Sicilian-inspired restaurant is fairly new and offers an amazing seafood based menu! From their grilled octopus bucatini to the calamari and mussels in a fra diavolo sauce, this place is a must-try!

Fairmount

A Mano

A Mano, meaning “by hand”, is an Italian restaurant serving handcrafted dishes that rotate each season; from Italy’s hearty winter dishes to the spicy summer dishes, A Mano is amazing no matter what time of the year you go!

South Philly

John’s Roast Pork

This gem is a little stand with four tables outside, but serves some of the best roast pork in the city!

Manayunk

Twisted Ginger’s Brewing Company

With a simple purpose and an inspiring philosophy to “Celebrate Life with a Twist” how could you not want to check out this neighborhood taproom and Artisan pizza kitchen?! Twisted Ginger’s offers 8 beer recipes brewed onsite, local wines and ciders, and a kid friendly menu!

Center City

McGlinchey’s Bar

This hidden gem has everyone’s favorite dive bar written all over it! From $3 beers to the jukebox, you don’t want to miss out on McGlincheys!

West Philly

Fiume

Enjoy this 2nd level Speakeasy offering 150 draft beers, 80 whiskeys, and craft cocktails!
